I had the opportunity to work with Chris when I was in the process of transitioning from a design producer into the role of a service designer - I was nervous and fumbling through finding my way. Chris was supportive, inspiring and a fun to work with. Chris is able to simplify things that are complex, and make solutions seem so obvious you can’t believe you didn’t see it in the first place. Design is not his career - it’s his natural ability and mindset. I was able to learn from Chris by watching how he partnered with clients, in a way that was a true partnership not being afraid to challenge if it was in their best interest. And putting in the extra time to ensure they were comfortable with outcomes and working in lock step with out team. I’ve taken on many of his approaches to leading teams into my own practice as inspiration. I try to emulate his leadership style with people to lead by empowering them to do their best while creating an environment that is enjoyable to work in. Chris is the type of person I want on my team - now and in the future! I've known and worked with Chris since 2016, starting at Fjord/Accenture and again at PwC Australia from 2019. We've worked on many projects together, and working with Chris is always a dream.
